Monoprice - Page 2

I've spent a lot of money with Monoprice and I've never been disappointed. I've even had to deal with CS once and it was totally painless. smile.gif

RE: HDMI cables. I recently bought one of Monoprice's Redmere-equipped HDMI cables and I'd recommend them, especially for a ceiling-mounted projector. The Redmere cables are MUCH lighter than standard high-speed cables and, therefore, will put much less strain on the projector's HDMI port. And they work beautifully with 3D.

I agree on the Monoprice Redmere HDMI cables. I had tried to go 40 feet with HDMI cables and HDMI boosters to a projector. I just couldn't get it to work. A rep at monoprice suggested that I use their Redmere cables and ditch the HDMI boosters. It works perfectly now.

I feel like chiming in with the "I love Monoprice" as well.

I moved in June, and did a home theatre in my basement. Got a good porition of my cables, both in wall and out, speaker wire, face plates, etc from monoprice.

BUT...I also used summitsource (which I believe I found here when looking). They were better in price on some of the coaxial I needed, as well on some of the tools and faceplates.

For me, they were a good deal too because I live in Indiana and they are out of Indiana, I've always gotten my stuff in 2 days or less from them.

But yeah, I love me some monoprice!

Monoprice is based in Southern California, and so are all of the customer service reps. The "Call Center" (quotes, because most traffic is chat related) is in Rancho Cucamonga. Everyone you speak to or communicate with should be proficient. Also, the names you see, really are that persons name. (I work for Monoprice, that is how i know).

If you guys have any issues ever, let them know. Also let them know if you are truly unhappy about something, they do what ever is in their power to take take of you, just be reasonable(i can't stress this enough). Don't let them think you are cool, then come have a rant off in a forum. (happens more than you would think)

Anyways. carry on. I love Monoprice as well BTW.

Another thumbs up for monoprice. Most of my A/V wiring is monoprice, and I have had no issues with the quality of the products. I've only had one "issue" when placing a very large order with a lot of small items. A few keystones were missing. I contacted their customer service and they quickly sent me the missing items. Nobody is perfect, and any company that makes things right will keep me as a customer.

In fact, I have ordered a 106 inch multi-format projection screen recently. I have no yet installed it, but my faith in monoprice is so great that I have faith in "higher ticket" items. I am very surprised that anyone has had any negative experiences with this company. Based on my multiple purchases, they always meet/exceed my expectations.

Yes. They are less than 20 miles from my house and although you can no longer order at the counter, Will call pick up is still available. Everybody at monoprice that I've dealt with is very good, uses their actual name and located right here in the U.S.

I have purchased numerous items thru numerous different orders over the years. Not one problem until this last order. Contacted them via online chat and they quick troubleshooted the issue and determined the product was defective. They gave me a store credit and told me to keep the item and not send it back. for me not having to jack with packaging the item back up and shipping it back to them says a lot of their customer service. They are here to make sure we are happy!
