subwoofer shopping..

what are som good site to look for subwoofers? what brands should i consider. and i would appreciate any suggestions near the 800 dollar range.. 70% ht 30% music 16x11x8 room, im looking to get the best bang for my buck with the best possible sceps. thanks!

you're thinking asking the same question on a different thread will somehow make whatever people find debatable suddenly undebatable? any good 12 step program participant would refer you to their classic definition of insanity . . . doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Plus there's a little etiquette issue . . . . HSU, Rythmik, SVS, among others.

+1. By all accounts so far, it's the sub to beat at or around that price ($799, shipped).

I agree on the PSA sub, probably the best bang for buck out there right now.
