Purchasing 4 TB Hard drive

Hello,

i have a HTPC with 4 X 3 tb Hard drives ( with 1 TB space left). I guess 1 TB space would be over maximum by 2 months.
I have seen a deal in Costco of 4 TB external Hard drive for $179 + Tax.
Can you guys suggest me to purchase this Hard drive now or wait for 2 more months and purchase it ?
Do you guys think price would change after 2 months or will we get same sort of deal

Suggestions please

Everything I've read says HDD prices won't be coming down int he near future...possibly into 2014. Thailand is still recovering from the floods, unfortunately.

The last time I spent that much money on a hard drive was back in 1998, when I paid about $300 for a 6GB Western Digital at Sam's Club LOL.

If it were me, I'd wait to catch some internal 3TBs on sale for around $100, unless you specifically want external. Not sure if I would wait when running out of space or not, tho, but I'm just getting started in HTPCs.

Hello,

the 4 TB one os the external HD. what i will do is to take the hard drive of external casing and use it as internal drive. This is what i did for all the 3 , 3 TB HDDS
