Hello everyone, I just ordered a Panasonic TCP55GT50 last night and am very excited. My set will be sitting on a large flat surface but I would like to elevate it slightly in hopes of putting my satellite receiver under one of the sides. I see from the technical sheet that the base is 20.1 x 14.1 inches so my plan is to prepare a slightly larger solid surface for it to sit on.
My question for anyone that has this set currently sitting on a surface, how much clearance is there between the TV and your surface? The satellite receiver runs a bit too hot to keep it with all my other A/V equipment in the cabinet (Dish VIP722) so I hope this is a viable solution.
