TCP55VT50 or TCL55WT50

Trying to decide between the 2, what are the advantages of each. I'm leaning towards the VT, for picture quality, but what woud I miss out from the WT? Thanks or any help.

TCP55VT50 provides direct access to the Viera Connect smart
TV features, but mostly it’s just a regular remote. The other one is far more interesting. Looking like a sort of sci-fi communicator, the Touch Pad remote is a remote that’s designed for Web browsing on the TV. Thumb Pad is more accurate, since you slide a cursor around the screen with reasonable ease using just your big digit. It works well enough, though a QWERTY keypad hidden in one of these things wouldn’t hurt 1.gif

Thanks, but I thought they both had the touchpad remote with them.

The VT is a plasma, and the WT is an LED. There are numerous threads comparing these 2 techs. I personally prefer plasma due to better side angle viewing and better uniformity of PQ, but you need to go to the store and compare the PQ and features to see which is best for you.

Well, I know the vt is a nicer picture, not sure by how much though. I'm more wondering if there are features that maybe the wt has that the vt does not. Thanks

I would base your decision more on which PQ you prefer (plasma versus LED) than features. The features are going to be similar, whereas most have strong preferences between the 2 techs..
