Survivor Season 26 CBS HD February 13th, 2013 - Page 27

I think it is easy to congratulate Cochran. He played a good strategic game, and he even dominated at challenges. I do think Dawn got a little unfairly maligned, if not by the people who played the game, but the fans. Is it Dawn's fault the people were stupid enough to keep giving her insights into their games time after time.

I have to say Sherry really undersold her contribution to getting herself to the final. She ran the fan's core alliance for much of the first part of the game. It was only when Michael and the other guy flipped in desperation that the core fan alliance fell apart. Sherry represents the power of the floating vote. If people on the jury had gone to her instead of Dawn they might have been sitting next to her in the finals.

I don't know... I thought her opening remarks were very well thought out, highly convincing and masterfully articulated!    Aww, who am I kidding.  She was a train wreck eek.gif.  But I do think her early edit (and especially her confessionals) inflated her role though.  Several of her core Gota tribemates (Laura, Matt/Mike and even Julia) said in their exit interviews that she wasn't the big leader she looked like on TV and that her main thing was dealing with Shamar while they did most of the strategizing.  At the least it sounded like a group effort.

They only have an hour....so instead of hearing more from the contestants we get to see Rich Hatch in a naked skit, Rudi shooting off the 'queer' word multiple times, a liitle girl trying to spit out why she likes Malcom, (and when she couldnt come up with a reason Probst feeding her the hair line), Boston Rob pushing his book, and Malcoms little acting job...

I'll probably think of more later....

I agree with the above....also - didn't the "final tally" run over by about 10 minutes? So they really only had 50 minutes instead of 60 for the reunion? If they had 10 more minutes they could have shown us the band at least smile.gif

I felt Sherri basically fell apart after ShamWow got medivaced .. after the merge, she just stayed low key and floated, IMO .. which, I suppose, could be a strategy ..

Brenda was right to call out Dawn on the claim she would not have left the game over her lost teeth. Kudos to Dawn for putting her mouth where her money was, but I am glad it did not earn her votes.

Interview with Erik here: http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/05/13/survivor-caramoan-erik-reunion/?hpt=hp_t3

Has some of his thoughts on the finale, reunion, etc. Some interesting tidbits including the fact that he didn't actually sit down when Sherri told him to. I'm still not sure what his strategy was that he alludes to in the interview, though.

I don't know - its one thing to briefly show that at the end of the season, its another to be part of half the season like that, particularly because it would have greatly affected her speech. Likely, the producers would have stopped the show and dredged the lake to get them back at some point smile.gif Or else I think she certainly would have quit.

Gongrads Cochran, well done.......
No I can't do it. A lot of hard work behind his win, I give them that.
Did anybody had any doubts that Cochran would win both challenges?
Does it always have to be "Admit you are an as@#$le and I will vote for you.", "I am an as@#$le, vote for me", "Congratulations, you are an as@#$le , you won, I love you." ?
I told you Malcolm would get his reward! biggrin.gif

Boston Rob said it, in a way, it's all about entertaining buyers.
Great answer from Fillip about his "suicide", no wait, he never asked him.
Never seen someone so unhappy to win 1 million and another so happy to lose it.
Makes you wonder, no?
I just want something real, you know?

Not sure the Hantz family tree has many, if any, branches. wink.gif

I gave you some pointers, that could help you, but why would you do that?
Why look for answers to questions you don't have?

Anyway, after the first hot girls leave, everything goes.
Many things I don't know happen. But if they keep last season's editing, some prediction is possible.
Right now I see Malcolm, Phillip and Sherri at final 3.
And Andrea one of the next 2-3 to go.
But I would love it if I am wrong!!!

For everything but Malcolm. smile.gif

Big news, my friends. This has been a pretty wild time for me. Survivor ended a week ago; I have law school graduation next week. And after that? Well, I'm unbelievably thrilled to announce that I got an incredible job -- dare I say, my *dream* job -- that will be taking me to Los Angeles.

I'm a writer on a new CBS sitcom that premieres this fall! The show is "The Millers," and it stars Will Arnett, Margo Martindale, Beau Bridges, and JB Smoove. I'm more excited than I can really articulate over a Facebook status, but I just wanted to share the good news! I'll be moving out to LA at the end of next week.

If you're there, you better say hello! And I will, of course, be frequently returning to the east coast.

My daughter and her friends saw Cochran coming out of Penn Station (NY) on Friday. He missed his cab and stopped and talked for a couple of minutes. They said he seemed real nice. He had his cello and he said he was on the way to dinner with Andrea.

He's dating Andrea?

Just said dinner. Doesn't mean they are dating.

One of our local fire departments had a Survivor viewing party a couple of weeks ago, with Andrea and Cochran came along with her. I didn't get to attend, but saw their pictures in a local paper the following week.

It would be a real boost to the nerds .. and a million bucks (or whatever after tax) and a career that's looking good might help a young woman look past a few flaws .. eek.gif

The cynic in me is thinking that Andrea is just going along for the ride on the Cochran train to extend her 15 minutes of fame.

Some of the casting for Season 27 that's floating around include :

Rupert and his Wife
Colton and his Partner
Gervase

and one of the winners of Big Brother ..

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm getting a little tired of the recycling of past cast members ..

Can't they find enough totally new folks .. ??
^^^^ Well, Rupert couldn't win the governorship of Indiana, so I guess he wants to try to win some more money for his charity. I like him but I agree that enough is enough.
