Mitsubishi 73733 - Horizontal lines where bright objects are

So I just replaced the bulb in this unit because it had become very dim. After doing so, now I notice these horizontal lines that go across the screen wherever bright yellow/red objects seem to be. It's very noticeable, not hard to see at all even in relatively bright scenes. I have attached an image.

I figured it must have been the bulb, so I returned it and bought another, but the same thing is happening. So I assume the problem was actually hidden when the bulb was dying. Is this something that can be fixed easily, and what part needs to be replaced?

Ugh.... you have to be kidding me. I bought this stupid Vulkano and had to switch to component to use it. Now it turns out that it caused this problem. The thing sucked anyway! Terrible interface! Ugh! Thanks for the help, that fixed it!
