I've been using the stock headset to play all of the Call of Duty's and have found them to be adequate for my use. However I did just buy some Turtle Beach X-Ray ($199, so they weren't the cheapies!) headphones/set that sounded very good for the game sounds and all but I did not like them for voice chat. They seemed to be too loud sometimes and would have to turn them down, other times I couldn't hear people thru the headphones however you could see that they were speaking because of the voice chat icon blinking.
I'd like to find some recommendations for a replacement headset that is better than the stock Xbox one without the annoyance of crap that I don't need. I don't mind them being wired but just not a ton of wires LOL.
