Mounting Klipsch RS-41 II with Monoprice speaker mounts.. will they hold?

So I'm about to have 4 of the Klipsch RS-41II mounted on the wall/ceiling (haven't decided yet)

I bought 2 of these:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082804&p_id=3012&seq=1&format=2

But the reviews say it can't handle the weight and now im concerned they aren't strong enough... frown.gif

Will they work and if not, does anyone have any recommendation for mounts that won't break the bank??

Do you know for sure that these would work? Have you used them?

I bought a pair of those. To put it bluntly they are plain crap. At least they were cheap and I didn't throw too much money away. About all they are good for is some very small satellites.

At least those are made of steel. The other ones are plastic.

No, I haven't used them and I don't know for certain that they will work. But they are made of metal, they have a weight rating well above the weight of your speakers, they have a ~83% positive rating (based on 60 ratings) and they're relatively inexpensive.

These mounts seem even sturdier (and more adjustable), but since they're also almost five times the price, I don't know whether they're in the category of "won't break the bank".

To the OP - just to add my $0.02 from personal experience - those mounts won't work. Far too flimsy. I used them to mount Take 5 satellites (which weigh all of ~3 lbs.), and even with those, I was worried they may not stay in place. The number of times the mount can be re-adjusted is also limited to once or twice at most, as the set screw that tightens the mount will dig into the plastic when secured.

Either get a different mount, or if possible, simply mount your speakers flush with along the wall using a single screw and the keyhole mount on the back of the Klipsch.

I ended up buyin a pair of these just now.. once I have them.. I'm fully ready to have my gear installed.

Silly question but does anyone here actually put the speakers straight through to the surround from the wall or does anyone here use a speaker plate and bananas on each side for a clean look? I bought the singular speaker plates (Will maybe be mounting on roof or on wall, not sure yet) but I'm wondering if it is too much even behind an RS41?
