Hi-
Long time reader, first time poster. Big fan of the AVSForum. My wife and I are looking to get a TV for our bedroom, >32in and <47" in size. I'm looking in the 40+ end of that size range. We have a Samsung from 2007 in the living area, a Samsung LNT4665F. Still great tv, just looking for something a little smaller for the bedroom, its a 46". Also the efficiency of a LED is a must. My requirements are =<$1000. The closer we are the higher price tag, its needs to have all add-ons like built in WiFi and apps and a OS that isn't backwards. I am looking for a very high quality image that won't make me want to replace it immediately when the living space TV is replaced by a 4K, once they're affordable. For me, to be able to get any image perfect is about a good, thorough, set of menu options that not only have effect, but are easily dialable-in. I want something with pleasing, minimalist aesthetic. I am not looking to get cluttered in over-programmed, under-performing OS as I hear the current model of Samsungs are offering. I love my old Samsung, I have heard bad reviews of the SmartTV system, even from tech people, like myself.
LSS-I am looking for:
A LED TV in either 37" (better be an amazing tv), 40",42", 46" (with a really slim bezel)
<=$1,000. High price must be a great TV.
WiFi Installed/Apps- Preferable if it works. If not, TV =<$900
120 or 240hz
Good image adjust-ability
Aesthetically Pleasing
Quality Brand
Thank you all ahead of time!
