Wow thanks for the responses guys. Just a little update. I got it a lot better but still think I can do better. I dropped the height of the audessy mic to about 36" from the floor and tried some different locations during calibration. The lower height helped tremendously for some reason. Room is filled with more bass now. Which is good, still not getting great mid bass. My source is my iPhone. I have burned discs onto my computer. Will be ordering oppo here shortly. So that may change things up as well. Interested in the PEQ eq's. I started to play with those a bit. Thought it did a little something was not positive so I just disabled them again. Def will try some more. Been busy but hope to have a meter in a couple weeks. Work is crazy. Thanks again for your help.

Isn't the mic meant to be where your head is during your sitting position? How high did you have it?

Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to what you find with the peq. Really banking on this with my setup.

I've ordered the miniDSP UMIK-1 to play with rew. Will post progress when I'm back as I'm out of town for 7 days with work.

Yes it is but I just found by lowering it, it seemed you help find the sound I'm looking for. I'm still not happy and doing more tinkering. I'm still feeling like maybe this is not the sub for me. But I will exhaust my options and try to make a educated decision and go from there. Kinda fun to learn really.
