Are you talking about an FM transmitter for like a car? I have an old Monster brand one that is a few years old and it works "good enough." It gets a little staticy sometimes, but I think that's just because FM transmitters just aren't as good as a direct connection to your stereo.
Yeah I ended up getting an auvio from radio shack...it did the job..a little more money than i wanted to spend @ $50 but it found the 3 best channels for you automatically. For a 19 hour drive it was totally necessary and unfortunately there was no way to connect directly.
