CX350 no longer connecting to my computers via usb, no longer able to tranfer footage from my...

Hello All, I'm not sure how often this forum is reviewed, but I really have to fix the issue I'm having with my camera. I have the Sony HDR CX350 Handycam with a 32 gig internal hard drive. It's been a great camera and I have really enjoyed using it. I'm currently having an issue with it that I have not been able to find a resolution or work around for. I have footage stored on the internal hard drive that I need to move to my editing pc, but when I use one of many usb cords that I have to connect it to the pc and others that I have, it is not making a connection. On the camera LED it just stays on a screen that says "Preparing Connection". I have tried different usb cables and different computers that I own, the issue appears to be with the camera. Has anyone experienced this issue or have a resolution so that I can move my footage from the camera to my pc?
