Harman Kardon AVR170 vs AVR265?

Either will be used to power harman/kardon HKTS60 speakers.


I am hestitated because AVR 265 has 1080 upscaling but AVR 170 doesn't. AVR 170 has AirPlay but AVR 265 doesn't. AVR 170 has generally more positive reviews even though it is relatively lower end than AVR 265. Please provide any input as to which will be better for a home theatre with HKTS60 Speakers.

btw depending on the region I believe they may be also called AVR 2650 and AVR 1700

Any other AVR Recievers that are "the" best recievers at the moments?

my usage:
- 5.1 speakers.
- hooked to a TV.
- music from iDevices or PCs
- Satellite reciever via HDMI
- Movies/TV shows via USB to TV or AVR

are both recievers a bad choice? for some reason I'm not 100% comfortable buying them with all the complains i've been reading here but they seem to be feature packed and have good offers. I also listen to them in the store in the demo room and they sounded really good.
