This is the effect you see when viewing in "just" mode. I use it a lot when watching 4:3 programs to fill the screen. I do notice more "fish bowl" effect on my 55gt50 than my older 50g25 though.
Some HD programming will show this effect in "full" mode also. My wife watches a lot of HGTV and I can see it sometimes when they show an older program that was probably originally shot in 4:3 and they're stretching the image for 16:9.

Thanks for the prompt replies. Just to clarify, what I am seeing is NOT the typical stretch look of a 4:3 pic to a 16:9 ratio, where the entire pic is stretched consistently to fill the screen. What I am seeing is 90% of the screen looking normal, until the moving object get's near the edge and then it stretches quickly before going completely off the screen. I think we're talking about the same thing, just want to be sure.
