Value for setup and working 1252 and LD100?

Is there any value at all to a low mileage Sony VPH-1252Q and Faroudja LD100 located in NH?

I have had them installed for about 10 years and they are working fine. They are in a small room and I have finally let my wife convince me to downsize to a smaller projector now that we're about to install a new ceiling... Trying to figure out what to do with them... I will not need the LD100 with the new projector.

Thanks, that's about what I figured I'd end up doing. $100 is a good amount - anything less than that is not worth the trouble. I'll start by posting it up on ebay and see what happens.

It works great - hate to see it go to the landfill. Amazing how a setup that cost 5 figures when new is worth little to nothing 20 years later, when it is still in great working condition. Fortunately most of the depreciation happened by the time I bought it 10 years ago. smile.gif

it's a little strange that something that still works so well and produces a very enjoyable pic has almost zero value but people just don't want to mess with them anymore.
on the other hand they had a really long run. Starting the mid 80's with the Sony 10XX series and running all way to 2012 when VDC stopped building the Marquee CRT's. the only other consumer electronic entertainment device I can think of that ran longer is the Turntable AKA "record player" smile.gif
