Saw this in the theater and the film's everything-and-the-witch’s-cauldron approach to the storytelling and the gags, hardly any of which elicit more than a sigh. Adam Sandler is equally bad as an animated actor as live. Universal should sue for damages to the reputation of its classic movie monsters. You should check out the infinitely better, spookier, and altogether more inspired ParaNorman. I would rent this first before buying.
