First post here-I am looking for a used yamaha avr, something with reasonably up-to date decoding,hdmi,etc. I care more about the dac than the amplifiers, but I do want something with low distortion. I need pre-outs, and YPAO. Other than that, I don't care-I am only hooking up a dvd player and a projector. I do not have blu-ray, but it would be nice if it could handle it (not essential, though). I am considering the rx-v2600, 4600, 1700,1900,3800, htr 6120, (I think that's the right model). Good sound is more important to me than video-I am running a QSC plx1600 on the front L&R. Any fellow Yamaha enthusiasts have a recommendation for something (preferably five or less years old) that can be had for cheap? Can't quite spring for the rx-a1010 just yet.
