I also sit at the center of the TV...I can't be bothered with viewing angles. My tv mount swivels as well if I need it. Black levels...at least my whites will look white.
....And, I don't play console games or watch hardly any 3D content... Guess both of our points are irrelevant.
As far as pricing... Vizio 65" is $1999, Panasonic 65" ST60 can be had right now for $2059 (tax free) from numerous sites, so that argument is also irrelevant.
I've owned an ST60 for over a month now, have had no IR, 3D PQ is fine (for the once a month I or most people
actually uses 3D), and my whites are plenty white. Last I checked the contrast ratio for the ST60/VT60/F8500 (ALL are plasma TVs) are pretty much off the charts, about as good as we are gonna get until OLED hits. Unless you plan on watching TV in a room full of windows during the day, the TV is plenty bright.
I never was trying to turn this into a LCD vs Plasma argument. Hell, I was even considering buying an M-Series Vizio. I just was commenting on the delayed release date of the M-Series and how I hope it is worth it for those who have waited this long.
