I'm not lying, look it up). Maybe they have cloned the Sharp Elite tech or something. Highly doubtful at this price, but I have no idea.
As far as YOU viewing the ST60 as a viable alternative, we already have established you want bigger than 65", and the "negatives" of the ST60 outweigh the positives. As for OTHER people reading this forum... at least they know that they have another extremely
"viable", similarly priced option (within 5-10% price difference) in the ST60. THAT
, would be my "point".
Trust me, we've all seen the ST60, and you're not telling us anything that hasn't already been said pages back. Sure, people looking for a 50"-65" TV should look at the ST60 to see if it's right for them. If you don't play video games or care about 3D content, then I'm sure it's a decent TV. Also, if someone is looking for anything smaller or larger than that 50"-65" range...there are no comparable ST60 options.
And FWIW, my full-array Vizio from 2011 has a 178-degree viewing angle. So no, it's not a problem with almost all LEDs. -But that's a common misconception created by the minds of uninformed plasma owners.
You say you're not wanting to turn this into plasma vs. LED, but yet you keep listing the negatives of LED tech. There are plenty of other threads for that, instead of you contradicting yourself in this one.
