You won't lose a year ... the ST warranty from Costco is just an extended 3 year warranty from when your warranty runs out .... so if you buy the TV at Costco your get from Costo 2 years free then the ST kicks in to give oyu a total of 5 years ... If you buy from anywhere and then buy the Costco ST warranty you will have 1 year manufaturer warranty then your 3 year ST warranty will kick in after that, in tunr giving you 4 years of protection ... either way a no brainer on an extended warranty option no matter where you buy the TV (keep in mind you will have to buy form an authorized dealer to egt your manufactureres warranty,)
-you can use other credit cards on costco online
You are correct ... costco online takes AMEX, VISA, MC & DISC (but only AMEX or Debit in store)
-you can buy costco gift cards online with other credit cards then go to the bricks and mortar store and buy the tv with those gift cards.
You sure can ... if you buy Costco gift cards online with any other cards stated above, you can use them in store (if you are a member of course)
-you can get a free pass to shop to buy from the pharmacy (some federal regulation i think that cant deny you access to the pharmacy and since the pharmacies are usually within the store, you can buy with that day pass) (only heard this, never needed to try as i have always been a member.
I don't think you can "Shop" ... you can get a free pass to look (menaing you can;t get in without a membership card but you can request a free pass to browse) .... if you buy you have to be a member (unless you shop online then you pay I think like $35 charge for making a non-member purchase)
-costco executive membership costs 100$ and gives you 2% back. a good deal if you spend over 2700$ annually. also offers some obscure other perks that arent of much use unless youre a business.
Executive memberships are $110 not $100 (they went up I think last year) and yes they do give you cash back on your purchase .... if you shop there regularly then it's great but if it's a one time thing you will pay the extra $55 now above the regular membership and not see your cash back for a year when your annual membership is up) .... I shop regularly and should upgrade (lord knows they Hound The Hell out of me every time I shop to do so) but I just don't bother.
