Yes, there is some light bleed on a full black screen....Ummmm who watches a black screen long enough to worry about it???
Once the hi-rez 240hz picture kicks in I don't seen any light bleed....also, this Much-a-Do About NOTHING Vizio remote issue is totally irrelevant to me....My Fios controller turns on my box and TV at the same time....the only reason I need to use the Vizio remote is to zoom close up on the picture to remove the top and bottom banding on "Wide" films. (I don't feel I lose all that much from the lost sides stuff)
As for the speakers.....Just go spend a couple $100 get a sound bar...problem solved...or do what I did, Onkyo 9400 THX 7.1 with a 135watts p/channel and a 12" sub ($1200 retail....at Newegg 50%off)....taking sound over 75 will break glass!
And for the Bose haters.....well, I replaced my side and rear speaker with double Bose cubes....are they the best...NO....but on ebay they cost a whopping $85 a pair, and they are now build into the crown molding in my ceiling in the back and they hide well there and on the room sides since the Onkyo system speakers are HUGE!!(I did keep the front 3) I have built in my system using a complete wall unit built from separates from IKEA...they work perfectly and fill up my 10'wide by 8' tall wall. .
So as I said, I'm enjoying mine,.....I hope you are too. If you are, forgetttabout the experts and nay sayers.....go pop some corn, get some junior mints, watch Pacific Rim 3D, Iron Man 3 or Star Trek Into Darkness and ....as for the detractors....have a coke and a smile....
