Hi All
I recently purchased the Sony GW55 handy cam, which is absolutely amazing. The next step is to purchase a compatible memory card. I know it takes any Class 10 Micro SDHC cards but I'm curious about the importance of the write speed of said cards.
Most micro SDHC cards only have a write speed of about 12mbs (read speeds are considerably higher). However, when I set my GW55 to record at it's highest definition it records at 28mbs, which is a lot higher than any existing micro SDHC cards can handle. How does this work? Does that mean I am unable to record at it's highest quality because I'm limited to the memory card's max write speed? As such, I don't understand how it can just take any class 10 micro SDHC?
I know these are stupid questions but I'm completely illiterate when it comes to camcorders so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
