I can get either one of these receivers for virtually the same price right now. I would appreciate any help on making a decision. I will be using an external Marantz MM9000 five channel amplifier. 150 watts x 5.

Id get the Denon sense your not using the avr amplifier and that unit has all the bells and whistles 4k. But you know that your Marantz will look better and you will feel better if its all in the same family.
