I have this projector JVC DLA-HD2K that came with the JVC Faroudja Digital Video Processor LD-HD2K. JVC doesn't have the owners manual or IR codes anymore and are of no help, also, I don't have the remote. I tried to use a Direc TV remote to search for codes I could train into my Harmony 880 remote. I found 2 codes that give me acces to the Menu on the processor and it cycles through the Menu Headings, but I can't change anything. The Harmony remote doesnt have anything any where near what I need. I can't find a code that works for anything on the projector. Ideas?

I have the same problem have you found a remote for the ld-hd2k if you have let me know . The DLA hd2k is a great projector it works with a number of scalers and processors I am running it with the vantage hd2 with great results also the pc/hd to hdmi scaler model no cp-255h is a very inexpensive unit and works quite well not as good as the vantage but does work . all the best Tony

I located a company that has the remote.I ordered it and I know we got it though I haven't tried it yet, it might be a couple months before I get back to check it out. If you get one let me know if it works.

Also the kit part number for the projector and the processor is DLA-HD2K-SYS. The "SYS" meaning both units. Once I figured that out it got easier to find info on both units. JVC offered a couple different processors with the projector, but they had different kit part numbers.

I have an old HD2k that died on me last fall. I still have the processor, both remotes (projector and processor), a lamp with about 50hours on it and the projector itself (considered to be for parts only at this point).
