I am still using a yamaha YSP800.
I used to have an older LG tv that passed all signals through its digital outputs so i could get dd5.1 and DTS. My new TV will not pass DTS, only 5.1.
I am contemplating buying a new soundbar with hdmi inputs so i could get DTS again.
Is a modern $400-$500 soundbar as good as or better than the YSP800? I havn't really kept up with any of this in the years since buying it.
Looks like i can get a YSP-2200 for ~600-700 online but dont know if i want to spend that much.
