While setting up a new display device I noticed that the Wii U's surround sample page pings the front L/R and then the rear L/R and finally all of them, but never the center. It would seem that the "center" channel is fed to the gamepad itself. I don't have a lot of games to test with but between the three I have (ZombiU, NSMBU, Nintendo Land and Trine 2) I can't say that the center is ever used. This concerns me because there are bound to be games where the gamepad isn't used that having a true center would be useful. Is there something amiss with my setup or can anyone else confirm what I'm seeing?
