What settings are you using? Looks like it's smoothed a bit and boosted all around.

some peak adjustments and 1 shelf i think
i wanted to get 10hz up as much as i could and fix the dips at 65 and 110 ish which it looks like i basically did

i could not seem to knock down that hump at 25

Try experimenting with different Q values for the filters as well. Looking solid though man. Do you have a sweep with 5db jumps between intervals?

By the way Sibuna, great build and beautiful speakers. I have a quick question and was wondering if you could help me out. I have been reading a lot about the Tempest and Sentinel builds. I currently have the Klipsch KL-650 THX speakers for my front left, center and right speakers and was wondering how the Tempest or Sentinels would compare with the Klipsch THX speakers. I like the Klipsch but I feel I can get a little more dynamics, clarity out of either the Tempest or Sentinels for two channel and blu rays.

My listening is about 50% home theater and 50% music and I currently run a SVS SB13 Ultra dual subs. My movie preference is action and music preference is souther rock, folk, and country with a little hard rock as well. I'm a big fan of bands like Heart, Bruce Springsteen, Elton, Mumford & Sons, Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens and Harry Chapin so as you can see quite a mix.

Thanks for any input.

Ted

so small update on this, Ive added another sub i took Popalocks Dual opposed Si 15 (SubM Clone) off his hands and put it squarely behind my couch. we conveniently now doubles as a massage chair when watching movies biggrin.gif

powering it with a Ep4K

thanks. I really want to build a center channel but i only really have like 6 inches of height to work with in this current space, sounds pretty awesome without one but it can only sound better with one

about the EPs i have both of them running through that Panamax and ive never made it switch off, which at least IMO is somewhat impressive. actually EVERYTHING is running through it. now that i think of it

I'm guessing BF4 on that system will be sort of awesome...

based on how awesome BF3 was id say yes.
i believe i posted some vids of the subs when playing BF3 a while back, firing the 50 cal and the tank
but that was just the 2 18s
I'm still playing BF3 until the PS4 drops. Looking forward to those sights and sounds.

That's a lot of woofage in that small space. Nice graphs and response.

Amazing thread. I haven't been on AVS in a few years and really wanting to upgrade my system again with a set of these.

I guess my main question is what center channel would even work with the Fusion 10 that was horizontal and not vertical? The other question is the lady friend is a-ok with big-ish cabs, but they still have to look good. Anyone know of these speakers with a grill?

Thanks!

the Fusion 8 center should work and it comes in a horizontal config i simply dont have room for it. also i live alone so i get away with whatever

you can make your own grills if you want, i didnt care to, i just did the sbs to protect them from my cats which ignore them anyway

Home Depot has some, but you should call ahead to make sure. Mine only had 2x8's and 2x16's. No 2x2's.

FWIW speaking as a first-timer at DIY or Assemble it Yourself, I'd have been happy to have paid a few dollars more for barrier terminals and even some good color coded wiring and connections for speaker internals.

Not a big deal once I knew what I needed, but as a first timer that was a surprise. Radio Shack didn't even have the right barrier terminals.

Probably handled by linking to suggested parts on PE like with the binding posts?
