DARBEE Visual Presence DVP 5000 DARBLET won't play nice with my Onkyo TX-NR906 AVR

Needs some help.
Before I send the Darblet back I figured I'd ask the experts if there might be a work around.

Onkyo TX-NR906 (HDMI 1.3a) >>>>> 3 ft HDMI cable >>>>DARBEE Visual Presence DVP 5000 DARBLET HDMI High-Defintion Image Enhancer>>>> Panasonic PT-AE2000U (Non 3D) projector, 30 ' cable.

I have been in contact with Darbee tech support and the Darblet is suppose to be backward compatible with HDMI 1.3. No matter what I do, I can't get an image to show from the projector. The blue lght on the Darblet blinks irradically but never shakes hands with the Onkyo. I even tried putting the Darblet just befor the projector. I've also gone into the Onkyo and set all video processing off and the HDMI output to "Through" but still can't get an image. I have 2 HDMI outputs on the Onkyo. (have to select an output to only one device at a time). The other output goes to a 73 Mitz HD RPTV. I'd heard, after I had purchased the (then top of the line Onkyo) about 4 years ago that sometimes it didn't play nice using the HDMI oitups but I never had an issue untill now. I know the Darblet works because if I hooked it up to my PS3 the blue light goes solid and passes the video immediatley with no issues.

Any thoughts.

Well I was finally able to get it to work. As an FYI, I have 2 HDMI outputs. A Main out that goes to my Mitz TV and a Sub out that goes to my projector (individually switched). I was playing around and decided to see if it would work with the Mitz TV and surprisingly, it did. Go figure!!. So I tried it again on the projector (HDMI Sub out) and it still wouldn't HDMI hand shake! I then put the HDMI Main output to the projector and it worked?? So I am leaving it that way as I had planned to use it with the projector anyway. I looked all through the Onkyo manual and there doesn't appear to be any difference between then 2 outputs. Don't know why it works with one and not the other HDMI output.

Thanks for the tip I am also having issues with Darbee and switching sources. I will try the second HDMI input n my set up and cross my fingers!
