Question about relative lag..

I don't do a ton of gaming, but when I do to play 1st person shooters. Today I play on my 46 inch sony rear projection lcd. Standard TV, can't think of the model, but probably not important. Anywhoo, I see all of these lag numbers posted on the various projectors and have nothing to relate it to. Any idea what a 7 year old standard sony LCD would return in respect to these lag tests? Ive never noticed any lag, but I'm not sure.

Not sure you'll get an answer about your rear projection lcd, but in general somewhere around 50ms lag is the border for acceptability for a casual gamers. Hard core gamers will claim that is still too much. (Epson seems to sell a lot of 8350s because of the ~17ms lag).
I play on both my RS1 (~50ms) and on a Asus 'gaming' monitor (~20ms). Frankly, old age makes the difference irrelevant to me. I can't do much of anything in under 50ms.
