SURGE PROTECTION RECOMMENDATIONS NEEDED FOR A NEWBY WITH A RELATIVELY SIMPLE SYSTEM!!!

Thread Starter
I just finished an entertainment center and have mounted a 65 inch Samsung un65es8000. I need to know what kind of surge protection I need for a relatively simple system. I will eventually have the tv, blu ray, game console, and sound system plugged into it. What is it that I need? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

3 days and no help. What I am using is a Panamax power conditioner / surge protector. Have 2 now for about 8 years and don't know they are there and I guess thats about the best thing I can say about it, it works. What you need to do is look at the watt's or amp draw of your system and get one that can handle about 50% more then your system pulls.

After almost 4 days and no one has posted that a whole house system is by far the best way to go,

Probably because there are over 3 thousand threads about it according to a simple search of 'whole house surge'.
