Pamasonic ae900u not working

My kids left it running. I figured I blew the bulb. I got a new bulb. Still nothing. When I turn it on I get the green light blinking after a minute or so I get the amber light and the temprature light comes on. I actually popped the top off the projector and when I turned it on I get the steady green light but no light coming from the projector. I can hear fans going. I can see the one at the back on the bottom running. Anyone have any ideas on what else I could check.

Thanks

You can try reseating the bulb and making sure the lamp cover is secured tightly. Is the bulb an original OEM Panasonic or a clone? Worse case scenario is that the ballast or power supply has gone bad. Do you hear the clicking of the ballast when it tries to fire the bulb? Other than that I have no idea.

I did try to reseat the bulb. When I had the cover on and turned it on I did hear a weird noise. It blinked green and then the temp light came on and the standby light went to red.

Unfortunately you are at the point of either sending it in for repair (although the cost is likely more than the projector is worth) or looking for a replacement projector.

You can look through the AE900U owner's thread for similar complaints.

Thanks. I like the projector and I saw someone selling one on here for around $400. May look into that one.
