Saw it at the theater and felt cheated by the lack of an ending, so I will be certainly skip this one unless there is changes in the disc...
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)It doesnt MATTER that this is a trilogy, you're STILL supposed to put a "period" on EACH installment so that movie stands out as its on entity (and as a stand alone blu ray disc). See Kill Bill, Matrix, Avengers, Prometheus, other films intended to be trilogies but have "periods" at the end of each movie. There are no periods in this movie, only "commas". In multi-movie franchises, you're supposed to have BOTH periods and commas. The purpose of the period is to send the paying audience home from THAT movie with a sense that there was a conclusion to SOMETHING. The comma is what is left with no conclusion. In Avengers, Loki and the alien army is the PERIOD, and Thanos is the COMMA. In Kill Bill Vol. 1, O'Ren is the PERIOD, Bill is the COMMA left for part 2.
They lead you to believe during the entire film that the one armed Orc villain will be the PERIOD for THIS movie, while the dragon, of course, is the COMMA. When the credits suddenly roll, the Orc is still a COMMA, theres no periods anywhere, and you're like wow, he sat me here for 3 hours...
The way this man is doing this-like a sci fi channel series on free tv-leaves me with no choice but to not buy the individual discs and only get the full 3-disc set if I can find it in the bargain bin. The disc in March will have to have the correct ending including the PERIOD that was left out, for me to even consider it.
