Good receiver with Zone 2 pre-outs?

I'm looking for a quality receiver with Zone 2 pre-outs. I originally picked up the Denon 1913 not realizing that it did not fit my needs. If i'm researching correctly, the first Denon model with Zone 2 pre-outs is the 2313. I really like that model, but the price is a little higher than i want to pay. Can anyone recommend something that will work for me?

The 1713 also has Zone 2 pre-outs.

Most mid-range AVRs and up have Zone II pre-outs..
However note that only sources connected (plus built in AM/FM tuner) via analog R/L cables will work...
Therefore run an extra set of cables for each, and things should be fine..

Just my $0.02... wink.gif

Yup...
The 1713 has Pre-Outs for Zone II, these have to be connected to an external stereo amplifier. As the 1713 is only a 5.1 with (5) channels of on-board amplification.

Also, if you refer to post #2 in the Denon AVR-XX13 Owner's thread linked in my sig, you can view a comparison of all the various XX13 models.

Awesome, thanks.

Keep in mind that the Zone 2 preouts will only pass the analog input signals. No HDMI or Digital inputs. So, you won't be able use your receiver as a DAC unless you go with the 3313CI or bigger I believe.

Actually that feature was also removed from the 3313CI as well, although the 3313CI does have the Zone 2 (HDMI) jack that can cnonect to either a TV or 2nd AVR.

I am aware, thanks. I plan on connecting RCA's in addition to my HDMI's.
