AVR-3311CI-Recurring problem with monitor 1&2 out

Hi, I have an AVR-3311CI and previously the receiver's monitor 1 output blew, which was fixed by DENON. They could not tell me a reason for why it blew, but I had everything set up correctly. Again, a few months later I had the same issue where both monitor 1 and 2 outs blew. They fixed only one and told me that it MUST be the HDMI cable I am using (because it was a 3.1ft cable and they think the terminals may have touched one another if the cable was not inserted correctly, causing a short; although I know I had it hooked in correctly). I then decided to buy a new 6ft HDMI cable and it was working fine for about 2 weeks. Today I turned on my tv and receiver, and the satellite's signal is not coming through to the tv. Could anyone please tell me what may be the reason for it not working once again? Thank you.

Actually it`s not just an issue with the sat box, my blu ray player isn`t working through it either.
