Yamaha RX-V667 Bi-Amp Issues - Check SP Wires

Hey all,

I recently decided to Bi-Amp my front speakers with my Yamaha RX-V667. I've hooked up everything with banana plugs to the second posts on my fronts and into the correct ports on my receiver. However, now when I try setting it up or running YPAO or anything. The receiver shuts off and when I turn it back on it says Check Speaker Wires. I'm not sure what the issue could be it only happens when I set it to 5 Ch Bi-Amp, not when it's on 7 Ch.

What would you all recommend I do? I'd really like to Bi-Amp the speakers, even though I know it won't have a ton of extra effect.

Thanks!!

Are the speakers connected to the surround back/bi-amp terminals??
If they are connected to the "B" terminals you have done it incorrectly.
Also,you can't do 7.1 and bi-amp too.

Did you remove the straps between the top and bottom terminals on your speakers?
