I've got a problem! I wanted to build a budget home theater setup and went with a onkyo HT-RC430 with polk audio rm-705 5.1 speakers. My first impressions listening is that it gives me a headache! I had the same feeling previously with my sansui g5000 amp with my psb alpha speakers. To solve that problem I got a 70s marantz amp which paired amazing with the psbs. The problem is I want video switching capability which the marantz doesn't have. I'm thinking about returning the polks and getting the energy rc micros. Will they be less fatiguing than the polks? Any ideas? I bought the onkyo receiver because I read it was a softer and more natural amp than the Yamaha I was considering. Let me know what ideas you have...
