This has happened from time to time on 3 of my Plasmas and a few LCD TVs - but only while watching a cable TV box connected via HDMI. Several other people here have had the same thing happen to them. It is apparently caused by the cable box since it happens on various brands and types of TVs so if you're watching a cable box via HDMI, then there ya go.
But if this happens while you're watching TV using the TV's internal tuner then there might be a problem with the TV, but i've only seen posts of pink screens happening with cable boxes.
