[SOLVED] Panasonic SD800 resets the file numbering.

Hi,

My Panasonic SD800 resets the file numbering every time I format the card, or simply delete all videos from the card. I ended up having multiple subfolders for each time when I clean the card. I delete videos (or format the card) only from the camcorder and not from the computer.

Does anyone else have the same issue, does someone know how to fix it?

Does the Operation Manual mention anything about continuous file numbering?

It says that if I want to reset numbering then I have to go setup and run [RESET NUMBER]. Which I do not use, it resets by itself.

That is for iFrame mode only. It seems that the camcorder will start numbering from 0 each time it creates a new file structure. Which is not a problem. Just create different subdirectories for your takes.

Yeah it's for iFrame, I did not pay attention to that. It's a major inconvenience to me.
