Triggering Cinavia on purpose

Hi Folks,

No matter where I search I can't seem to find out if my BR player (the Philips BDP-3406) has Cinavia on its 2nd most recent firmware or not. Their release notes are lacking, and I want to find out because if it's already on there anyway, an update could fix other bugs.

So how do I test for Cinavia if I can't rip and convert my own BR discs? Is there some way to do it? (I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble with links to questionable websites but advice is appreciated. Thanks.)

If this is a current 2012 model released after 2/12, then it will have Cinavia.

The model itself wasn't, and earlier firmwares than what I have were free of it. I just need to check the current firmware. It was released in 7/12 but the release notes didn't mention Cinavia on there, yet the release notes for the 2013 firmware do.
