On the Marantz site it says "current feedback topology-pre amplifier stage." What does this mean?

It's just the Marantz terminology describing their proprietary analog amplifier circuitry. By itself, it doesn't really make any audible difference when comparing with other receivers in the same price range.

In general, it's appropriate to ask questions about specific receivers in their dedicated threads.
