If you dont have cnc or tightly cut slot aligned braces, how do you get the bracing to stay in place while gluing?

It doesn't seem like nailing into thin strips would work out well

I use a nailer, works great.

Clamp or brad nailer. Hell, if the braces slide into the cabinet snugly, PL holds them plenty firm until it sets up.

Drill a small pilot hole before nailing. Also, if you drill the hole through the cab first you can pencil in an X on the inside of the cab to help align the brace to the hole. Then you can re-pilot hole with the brace once in place before nailing or driving in a screw.

Nailer as in air tools. Not regular hammer and nails. If you don't have a brad nailer and cannot use clamps, use the pilot hole/ screw method.
