EDIT: I now have 35x10x10 to work with. 1.2 cu.ft. per side.
Need some suggestions for my Cousins living room speakers. The internal volume would be about 1.2 cu.ft. when using 3/4 wood. These will be ON-WALL, not in-wall like the title suggest. "35"H x 10"W x 10"D
He's received permission to build speakers into fake pillars. He's not allowed to do anything else. hahah
So, I need help figuring out what type of speaker to go with. They listen to POP and watch a few movies.
Subwoofer won't be a problem.
Since the speakers are unfortunately going to be located ABOVE ear height, I'm thinking either a line array or a waveguide speaker of some type?
We CANNOT build the speakers anywhere but in the red box located in the pic below. Can't go below (furniture & firewall there) and can't go deeper (wall framing).
Btw, normal ear height is 6-10" inches BELOW the bottom of the speakers.
