Ascend 340SE LCR or Paradigm Studio Center CC-690 & Studio 40 V4 LR

There is an eBay on the Paradigms that has recently ended but i may be able to get them for less than his minimum.

Comparatively speaking, which is a better setup for movies, gaming, Tv some music?

Room dimensions probably matter here, but I think you are comparing apples to grapefruit here...........

The Ascends are (probably) wonderful speakers ( I have not heard them, I only have the 170SE's which are great for me), but the Paradigm center speaker alone new costs as much as the whole Ascend 340SE LCR set........would think that if you can afford them , the Paradigms would be the better bet here.....

Would probably address the Paradigm owners thread concerning their speakers..........you'll probably get some of the Ascend owners posting here soon about theirs:)
