I am looking at an HC1600 with 1,000 hrs on the lamp for $250. What is the actual average life span of that bulb? I know it says 3,000 hrs but is that even close? I can't decide if this will tie me over for a yr until I upgrade, or if this will be a waste of $250. I need a PJ for the superbowl.
