What are your suggestions and why? I have 3 energy veritas v5.2's on a 3.1 set up!! So don't have to have 7.1 or 9.1 something simple is fine with me but what great internals!! I want great sound quality and very high end components!! Maybe marantz, does emotiva make a avr? I was thinking marantz sr5007 is there something similar to that? I wanted to spend 700.00-1100.00!!!

Thanks buddy that emotiva seems really nice!!

I'm not looking for anything with bells and whistles ( air play and such ) ..

Just want great sound and hdmi inputs smile.gif ...

Might look into that emotiva or marantz 5007

No more; at this price range what Gary mention is more than enough. from all four my vote goes to SC-61; second Onkyo 818 or Denon 3313....

IMO the best-sounding receiver you can buy is wirhout question the Cambridge Audio 551R. It is only $1200, and I don't know of ANY receiver that sounds as good for under $2500 (except the 651R...lol).

Its amplifiers, and just as importantly its power supply, are designed and built to much higher standards than any other I know of, and the resulting sound quality improvement is there to be heard.

As far as I am concerned, this is the Rolls-Royce of receivers, and most of the rest are in the Ford Fiesta class.

Thank u so much will go look at the Cambridge !! I just want great internals and I know emotiva, Cambridge , mark levinson and lexicon products have this !! Thank u
