Possibly going from Dish to Fios, need some input on PQ from anyone that has made the jump...

Im right on the cusp of switching, and its hard only because i have enjoyed my Dish network for the last few years. I know that with internet that ill enjoy Fios, although i pay for the comcast 50mbps package and it has been decent, but id like to get everything all in one bill again.

What can you guys tell me briefly on the fios HD pic quality? If its as good or better, im sold. I just need to hear a few opinions on it before i pull the trigger. Thanks in advance.

I can definitely say that FIOS PQ is better than what I used to get from Comcast. Plus, you'll be able to have HDNet Movies, which most Comcast systems don't carry

What is that HDnet movies like? Is it just a selection of old and new, all new movies, do they cost? I just am trying to get a feel of what Fios offers.

Anyone else have some input on switching to Fios from their former provider?

Yes, it is primarily older films, but all are shown OAR (the only channel that consistently does, along with SHOWTIME/TMC) and in 1080i and 5.1 audio. Plus once or twice a month they have a one-day showing of lower-profile new films a few days before they open in theaters. Here's the next one:
