Hi, I want to upgrade my old SONY STR-DE897 + SA-VE566H speaker kit.
My budget is $900 or tight tight $1000.
I'm in doubt if I get a 5.1 or 7.1 system because of my limited space for surround.

The AVR doesn't need to have much sources. I will just use it for Set-top box, PS3 and PC via HDMI with DTS, AC3 etc...
