Hey guys, so I went to Best buy to check out the Denon 1713 and Marantz Receivers.
The Denon 1713 (like most receivers) is just big and blocky, the interface seemed OK. Now I saw the Marantz 1603 which just looked sexy.
Of course we have the higher $250 price tag (I have had bad luck with refurbished in the past), but other than the slimmer form factor on the Marantz is it an overall better system?
I am going to use a 5.1 system for this setup, I doubt I will ever upgrade to the 7.1.
They both have Airplay, and I know the 1713 has the Audyssey MultiEQXT versus the Marantz which has the lower version, but was looking for anything else which could justify me paying the higher price tag and not doing it simply based on aesthetics.
