MadVR gamma settings?

Hey Folks,

Was playing around with the MadVR settings today and found the option of selecting either a pure power curve or BT 709/601. I assume I should select 709 since that's the color gamut BDs use right? Also for gamma, when my plasma was calibrated the average gamma was 2.13 so would I select 2.15 (the closest on the settings) in MadVR? thanks!

You mean the settings when you select "this display is already calibrated"? AFAIK, calibrators usually calibrate to BT.709 primaries and a pure power curve these days. And yes, if your display was calibrated to 2.13, then 2.15 would be the appropriate setting in madVR. FWIW, that setting only has any effect if you enable gamma processing, or change the brightness/contrast controls in madVR or in your media player. The gamut/primaries setting is used in any case, though, to adjust primaries to your display e.g. when playing back DVDs.
